EurekaVerse Podcast #6: The Warehouse 13 Holiday Special Episode

This episode, we discuss the long-awaited Warehouse 13 Holiday Episode, which was as heartfelt and magical as we could have wanted, with plenty of funny parts too. The main story of a Scrooge-like father being tormented by a bad Santa was funny and in the spirit of not only the season, but also worked beautifully within the Warehouse 13 mythos. And the secondary story of Claudia orchestrating the amusing reunion of Artie and his dad was as good as any main story they’ve ever done!

EurekaVerse Podcast #5: The Eureka Holiday Special Episode

This episode, we discuss the long-awaited Eureka Holiday Episode, and it didn’t disappoint us! We enjoyed the special story with the cool Santa twist! We also enjoy discussing the physics that would be involved in Santa being able to travel and deliver the number of presents that he does each Christmas Eve. And we debate the merits of this episode existing outside the regular story of Eureka.

EurekaVerse Podcast #4: The Warehouse 13 Season 2 Finale, Parts 1 and 2

Spoiler Alert: These shows are commentary and discussion about the episode, and so contain spoilers for the show!

This episode, we discuss the season 2 finale of  Warehouse 13, parts 1, “Buried,” and 2, “Reset,” and the possible fates of H.G. Wells, Regent Valda, and whether Myka will return. We also touch on the apparent “magic” in some of the artifacts, what the implications of Claudia being a future “caretaker” are, and what we would love to see in the next season – since SyFy has renewed Warehouse 13 for another season! Hooray! And we even take a silly stab at what might be in the storyline for the upcoming holiday episode!

EurekaVerse Podcast #3: The Eureka Mid-Season Finale “I’ll Be Seeing You”

Spoiler Alert: These shows are commentary and discussion about the episode, and so contain spoilers for the show!

This episode, we discuss the Eureka mid-season finale “I’ll Be Seeing You,” in which Grant attempts to go back in time to change history, causing Allison to die. Carter confronts Grant mid-time-travel, throwing them both back to 1947 again, where they work together to try to prevent the accident that killed Allison. We discuss the storyline, the “time-travel” paradigm, and even take a tangent over to real-life science shows that could be reality-show versions of the science in Eureka. And we mull over other shows we wish were in the EurekaVerse for crossovers.

EurekaVerse Podcast #1: Who, What, When, Where and Why? Our Intro Show!

In this, our first episode, we introduce ourselves, and why we love Eureka and Warehouse 13. We also detail the adventures that were had by several of us who just went to Dragon*Con 2010 in Atlanta, which hosted several of the actors from each show, including Saul Rubinek (Artie), Eddie McClintock (Pete), Erica Cerra (Deputy Jo Lupo),  Neil Grayston (Fargo) and Colin Ferguson (Sheriff Jack Carter) and guest stars Tia Carrere, Mark Shepard and Rene Auberjonois. We heard a lot of their stories, and some of us even got to have a conversation or two with these fine folks, and wanted to share some of these anecdotes with you!
